Forklift rental with or without an operator.
Flexible hourly, daily and monthly rental options for your project. We help you pick the right tonnage and model, and stay by your side on site.
Forklift rental means getting a forklift, and an operator if you want one, for as long as you need it for loading, unloading and stacking, without the cost of buying one. Mustafa Kalaycı rents out forklifts from Pınarbaşı to all of İzmir, with or without an operator, on an hourly, daily or monthly basis.

What capacity do you need
This is always the first question, and the weight of the load alone does not answer it. Three things decide it together: the weight, how far the load centre sits from the forks, and how high you need to lift.
The important point is this. The capacity written on a forklift applies at a specific load centre and a specific height. The longer the load or the higher it goes, the less the machine can carry. For borderline jobs that means stepping up a class.
| Job | Usually suitable capacity |
|---|---|
| Light packaging, boxes, carton loads | 1.5 tonnes |
| Standard full pallets, general warehouse work | 2 to 2.5 tonnes |
| Heavy full pallets, sacks, drums | 3 tonnes |
| Sheet metal, marble, moulds, castings | 3.5 to 5 tonnes |
| Machine bodies, heavy equipment | 5 tonnes and above |
Use the table as a starting point, not a decision. Tell us the load and the lift height and we will size it properly. Working under capacity slows the job down and creates a safety risk.
With or without an operator
Both are possible. The decision usually comes down to whether you have a licensed operator and how long the job runs.
| With operator | Without operator | |
|---|---|---|
| When it makes sense | No operator of your own, short or one off job | You have a licensed operator, longer job |
| Responsibility for operation | Ours | Yours |
| Time to start | Work begins as soon as the machine arrives | You need to arrange an operator |
For rental without an operator, whoever drives the machine needs an operator licence. That is both a legal requirement and a serious safety matter, so we do not gloss over it.
Diesel, LPG or electric
Power type is often more critical than capacity, because the wrong type simply cannot be run in some places.
| Type | Where it suits | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Diesel | Open yards, construction sites, heavy loads | Exhaust fumes make it unsuitable indoors |
| LPG | Partly enclosed spaces, mixed use | Needs cylinder changes and ventilation |
| Electric | Indoor warehouses, food and clean production areas | Charging time has to be planned |
If the work is inside a warehouse, say so when you send your request. That one word decides whether the right machine turns up.
Choosing the rental period
Hourly rental suits a single loading or unloading job. Daily works for moves and warehouse reorganisation that finish in a day. Weekly and monthly suit seasonal peaks, project durations, or periods when your own machine is in for service.
Understating the duration rarely helps, because extending depends on the machine still being free. Give us a realistic estimate and we will plan around it.
Six things to have ready before you call
- The type and rough weight of the load
- The maximum lift height
- Whether the work is indoors or outdoors
- Whether the operator is yours or ours
- How long you need the machine
- The address and the start time
Send those six in one message and the pricing conversation takes a single round. Figures quoted on incomplete information tend to change later, so we prefer to be exact from the start.
