Why export loads make pallets a separate subject
For a domestic shipment the requirement is simple: the pallet should be solid and the size should fit. For goods leaving the country, wooden packaging has to be heat treated and carry the IPPC mark, under the international rule known as ISPM-15.
Unmarked wooden pallets can be held at customs, and in some countries the entire load is turned back. If you are sourcing pallets for the free zone or for export, say so in the first sentence and we will take it from there.

- Air freight: size and weight limits are tighter, confirm dimensions up front
Which forklift for indoor work
A large share of the work around Gaziemir happens inside warehouses. Running a diesel forklift indoors causes problems with exhaust and noise, and many warehouses will not allow it at all.
Electric machines suit these places better. They are quiet, produce no exhaust and are built for indoor use. Outdoors and under heavy loads diesel remains the practical choice, while LPG sits between the two and gets used in partly enclosed spaces.

An electric forklift. It produces no exhaust and runs quietly, and most warehouses will not allow diesel machines indoors anyway. Just note that the work is indoors when you send your request.
Do you collect pallets from warehouses regularly?
Yes. We work on a routine basis with warehouses that free up a predictable number of pallets each month. Tell us the rough monthly count and size and we can set up a schedule.
Can you enter the free zone?
Vehicle and personnel entry to the free zone follows the zone own procedure. For jobs like these we agree the entry process in advance, so mention that the work is inside the free zone when you get in touch.
